Climate compensation

We know our footprint – and act accordingly.
Since 2021, we have been compensating for all unavoidable CO₂ emissions of our company. The basis is a thorough analysis according to the international standard of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol by First Climate.

What exactly have we recorded?
Our compensation is achieved by purchasing high-quality climate certificates. The selection: targeted, verified, and effective.

Our bees –
concrete & local
Since 2020, we have hosted six bee colonies on our company premises in Eching, cared for by beefuture. The idea: create habitat, live responsibility locally.
Once a year, we harvest our own organic honey, with every employee receiving a jar at the end of the year. A small cycle with great symbolic power.
Lasting balance: our green roof
Where industrial space grows, responsibility must grow as well.
That’s why we have implemented a large-scale green roof at our Eching site – as a habitat, moisture reservoir, and natural balance to sealed surfaces.
On a total of 1,500 m², mosses, flowering plants, and hardy grasses now grow – maintained, ecologically meaningful, and permanently established.
A place that also provides protection for our bees – and reminds us daily that technological progress and ecological responsibility are not contradictions.

We work with Fruits4Work to provide our team with fresh fruit – regional, seasonal, sustainable. What cannot be distributed is donated: to Tafel München and die Arche.
Resource conservation in everyday life
Paper: We avoid printouts and rely on 100% recycling for destruction with Shred‑it.
Container disposal: Together with PARTSLIFE, we ensure legally compliant, environmentally friendly disposal of our sales packaging.

Our site: sustainably designed
- EV charging stations: 10 charging points for employees & guests
- Forklift fleet: converted from diesel to electric
- Lighting: fully converted to LED since 2018
- Photovoltaics: in operation since 2011 – over 400 tons of CO₂ saved so far
